Slope of line passing through two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by

m= y2−y1/x2 - x1

Here, m = slope

Since the line passes through (2,5) and (5,14)

Here  x1 = 2,  y1 = 5

And, x2 = 5, y2 = 14

Putting values, we get

m = 14-5/5-2

= 9/3

= 3

So, the slope of the line is 3.
