The frame's dimensions are 2 lengths (L) and 2 widths (W). We know that L=W+2

The perimeter  (P) is equal to 2L+2W

P=2L+2W

Instead of L we will put W+2

P=2(W+2)+2W ==>P=2W+4+2W

34=4W+4

4W=30

W=30/4=15/2=7.5inches

L=W+2=7.5+2=9.5inches
