cool length of cast=16.25 inch

sprinkage length=16.40-16.25

=0.15 inch

let the x % of total length is equal to length of sprinkage then,

16.40*x%=0.15

16.40*x/100=0.15

0.164*x=0.15

x=0.15/0.164

x=0.91%
