We have,

x² +y² =10      …1

 y=-3x+10      …2

Putting value of y in equation 1, we get

x² + (-3x + 10)² = 10

x² + 9x² + 100 - 60x = 10

10x² -60x + 90 = 0

Taking 10 common,  we get

x² - 6x + 9 = 0

x² - 3x - 3x + 9 = 0

Taking, common

x(x - 3) - 3(x - 3) = 0

(x - 3) (x - 3) = 0

Let x - 3 = 0

x = 3

Let x - 3 = 0

x = 3

Hence, value of x is (3,3)
