For finding range of the function “g” we use given domain “D” values
Here we have
g(x) = 2x-5……(1)
We substitute domain values into equation (1) one by one and get the range values
( Here domain values are the value of “x” )
putting value X=-2 in equation (1)
g(-2) = 2(-2)-5
g(-2)= -4-5=-9
putting value of X=0 in equation (1)
g(0) = 2(0)-5
g(0)= 0-5=-5
putting value of X=2 in equation (1)
g(2) = 2(2)-5
g(2)= 4-5=-1
putting value of X=4 in equation (1)
g(4) = 2(4)-5
g(4)= 8-5=3
The range of function “g” is
{-9,-5,-1,3} ans .
