according to the question, we have to find out the solutions of the following equation:-

y=−2x−9

2x+3y=−3

to find solutions we have to solve these equations by substitution method:

step 1 : get the value of one of the variable by the equation

y=-2x-9

step 2: value of y put in the equation 2

2x+3(-2x-9)=-3

2x-6x-27=-3

-4x=-3+27

-4x=24

x=-6

step 3: put the value of x in equation 1

y=-2x-9

y=-2(-6)-9

y=12-9

y=3

here the value of x and y is (-6,3).
