Let the Width of rectangle = 1.25w

then, Length of rectangle = l = 1.25w

Perimeter of rectangle = 3l+1

                                         = 3(1.25w) + 1

We know that;

Perimeter = 2(Length + width )

3(1.25w) + 1= 2(1.25w+w)

3.75w + 1 = 2.50w + 2w

3.75w + 1 = 4.50w

1 = 4.50w - 3.75w

1 = 0.75w

w = 1/0.75

w = 1.33

Then, Length = 1.25 * 1.33

                        = 1.67

Thus, length and width of rectangle are 1.33 and 1.67 respectively.
