given that:-   (1-sin ^ 2 (θ)) / (cos ^ 2 (θ))…..equation(1)

 trigonometric identity: cos ^ 2 (θ) + sin ^ 2 (θ) = 1

now, cos ^ 2 (θ) = 1 - sin ^ 2 (θ)…………..equation (2)

put the value of equation (2) in equation (1)

(1-sin ^ 2 (θ)) / (cos ^ 2 (θ))

 = (cos ^ 2 (θ)) / (sin ^ 2 (θ))

= 1 (Answer)
