So lets try and create a simple ratio based on the information that we have. Lets call X the amount of mg that a patient should recieve.

If 1kg should take 20mg, 

Then 23kg should take x mg.

Cross multiply to create the equations to find x, so 1 times x equal to 23 times 20.
