In order to find the slope of the line, we must familiarize ourselves first with the equations of the slope. We must take note that there are two equations for finding the equation of the line. The first equation if we are given two points, whereas the second equation if there is only 1 point.
Equation of the line given two points:
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
Equation of the line given one point:
m = y1 / x1
