Lets put the variables on one side and the numbers on the other side. Every variable or number that will change sides, will have their sign changed from a + into a - and vice versa.

14x-14x=22-22

0=0

The value of x is infinite because in the end cancels it self, so x can be any number we want. 

Since both sides of the equation are the same, its commutative.
