Let the total amount of money in both accounts is y

Amount of money in saving account is s

And, amount of money in checking account is c

And, w is the number of weeks

So, s = 50w + 200      ….1

And, c = 30w + 100     ….2

So, total amount (y) = amount in saving account (s) + amount in checking account (c)

y = 50w + 200 + 30w + 100     

y = 80w + 300

 

Hence, the expression is 80w + 300.
