Heracles (also known as Hercules in Roman mythology) is a figure from Greek mythology who is best known for his incredible strength and for completing the Twelve Labors a series of penances and tasks. These labors were a consequence of Heracles taking responsibility for his actions he was driven mad by Hera and killed his own children. To atone for this crime he was instructed to carry out a series of seemingly impossible tasks. The story shows his journey to redemption and the immense responsibility he takes upon himself to make amends for his past deeds.
