given that:- point A (5,6)=(x1,y1) and B (1,1)=(x2,y2)

y-y1=m(x-x1)

where m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

so, y-y1=[(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)](x-x1)

y-(6)=[(1-6)/(1-5)](x-5)

y-6=[-5/(-4)](x-5)

y-6=(5/4)(x-5)

4(y-6)= 5(x-5)

4y-24=5x-25

5x-4y=25-24

5x-4y=1       (equation of line)
