So the given equation is x-3y=12
finding the value of y we get
y= x/3-4…….(2) comparing the equation by the equation of straight line y=mx+c
We get m= ⅓…..(2) so by the options
A. X+3y=9 here the value of y is -x/3+3
m'= -⅓…..(3)
By the equation (1) (2) and (3)
⅓*-⅓=-1 satisfies the line perpendicular property so option A is correct.
