given that:- point A (3,2)=(x1,y1) and B (-9,6)=(x2,y2)

y-y1=m(x-x1)

where m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

so, y-y1=[(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)](x-x1)

y-(2)=[(6-2)/(-9-3)](x-3)

y-2=[4/(-12)](x-3)

(y-2)=[1/(-3)](x-3)

-3(y-2)=x-3

-3y+6=-x-3

-x-3y=-3-6

-x-3y=-9

x+3y=9  (equation of line)
