Pythagorean Theorem, is a rule or theorem developed by Pythagoras that is significantly used in euclidian geometry, in order to solve for the three sides of a right triangle. The Pythagorean Theorem is represented as,

c^2 = a^2 + b^2

c = hypotenuse or the longest side

a = side a

b = side b

Hence we can transpose the given terms if we are asked to solve for a, and b in terms of c.
