Nucleus is found on both eukaryotic cells and prokaryotic cells.

Nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle located at the center of the cell, whereas it contains the genetic material of the organisms. It is mainly responsible for the different processes that are essential to maintain the cell's integrity by regulating and controlling the other membrane bound organelles. The nucleus can be considered as the largest membrane bound organelle, that is prominent in looking at the cell. Without the nucleus, the cell could not possibly exist.
