What are 2 ways we can treat cancer

There are several ways to treat cancer, but two commonly used methods are:

1. Surgery: This is often the first line of treatment for many types of cancer, especially if the cancer is localized, which means it hasn't spread to other parts of the body. The goal of surgery is to remove the cancerous tumor along with a margin of surrounding healthy tissue to ensure that no cancer cells are left behind. In some cases, nearby lymph nodes are also removed to check for the spread of cancer.

2. Chemotherapy: This treatment uses powerful chemicals (medication) to kill fast-growing cells in the body, particularly cancer cells. Chemotherapy can be used for various purposes, such as to shrink a tumor before surgery or radiation therapy (neoadjuvant chemotherapy), destroy any remaining cancer cells after surgery or radiation therapy (adjuvant chemotherapy), or to treat cancers that have spread to other parts of the body (metastatic cancer).
