Let the speed of train A be s1

And speed of train B be s2.

Distance = 348 miles

Time = 3 hours

Speed = distance/time

s1 + s2 = 348/3

s1 + s2 = 116       …1

s1 - s2 = 22          …2

Adding equation 1 and 2, we get

s1 + s2 + s1 - s2 = 116 + 22

2s1 = 138

s1 = 138/2

s1 = 69

Now, putting value of s1 in equation 2, we get

69 - s2 = 22

s2 = 69 - 22

s2 = 47

Thus, speed of trains are 69 mph and 47 mph.
