Chloroplasts cannot be seen in a fingernail since it is only present on plants. Chloroplast are organelles which can be found in plant cells, and are responsible for the processes that is involved in photosynthesis. It absorbs sunlight, together with carbon dioxide and water to produce the sugar for the plant, and oxygen molecules. It can be seen in the chemical formula of photosynthesis: 6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2
