Let sally has x dollars

And, fred has y dollars.

Then, according to question

x = 5y …1

x - 125 = 2(y + 50) …2

Now, putting value of x in equation 2, we get

5y - 125 = 2y + 100

5y - 2y = 100 + 125

3y = 225

y = 225/3

y = 75

Now, putting value of y in equation 1, we get

x = 5(75)

x = 375

Now, amount of money sally and fred has after spending $125 and earning $50.

Sally = $375 - $125

= $250

Fred = $75 + $50

= $125
