We have,  ln√x+2=3

       1/2 Ln (x+2)   =   3        {Ln(the square root of a number) = 1/2 Ln(the number)}

Multiplying each side by 2, we get

 Ln (x+2) = 6

   (x + 2) = e^6        {e^(Ln of a number)  =  the number}

  (x + 2)  =  403.43

Subtracting 2 from both sides, we get

x = 401.43
