according to the question, Jack divided his fortune of $92,000 into 8 equal parts that means when we divide total amount with total parts then we get amount of one part.

amount of one part = total amount / total parts

total amount = $92000

total parts = 8 parts

amount of one part =92000/8

                                     = $11500

now, given that : wife = 4 parts

that means she got total amount = 4 * amount of one part

                                                              =4* 11500

                                                                = $46000

son = 1 part

that means he got total amount = $11500 (that is amount of one part)

now, remaining 3 parts are divided equally in 5 charities

that means total amount of 3 parts = 11500*3

                                                                = $34500

now according to the question, this amount of 3 parts are divided in 5 charities

so each charity receive total amount= 34500/5

                                                                   =$6900

now we have to find how much more money did his son get than each charity=?

more money son get than each charity= son total amount- each charity amount

                                                                     = 11500-6900

                                                                      =$4600

he get $4600 more amount than each charity.
