According to the question, in a small welding shop there are four welders employs and one secretary

now, Given that:- workers' compensation insurance policy charges a premium of $ 10.57 per $100 gross wages for the welders and

$ 1.31 per $100 of gross wages for the secretary

now, If each welder earns $ 37,000 per year, and the secretary earns $ 24,000 per year

then, what is the total annual premium for this insurance=?

per worker insurance policy premium => 37000/100*10.57

                           =$3910.9

4 workers insurance policy premium=4*per worker insurance policy premium

                                                        =4*3910.9

                                                       =$15643.6

secretary insurance policy premium= 24000/100*1.31

                                                        =$314.4

total annual premium for this insurance=15643.6+314.4

                                                               =$15958 (Answer)
