Increasing the amount of solvent increases the solubility of the solute. This will more likely make the solution saturated, in which the amount of the solvent is greater than the amount of the solute. One example that we can demonstrate this assumption is by adding a small amount of water to powdered milk. At first the milk does not completely dissolve, and there are still traces of it left, whereas if we add more water, the milk then will dissolve.
