according to the question, there are 6 egg cartons that filled with eggs and 7th egg carton has 7 eggs

given that:- each egg carton holds 12 eggs, it means 6 egg cartoon have 12 eggs in each

so, total egg in 6 cartons are:-

6*12=72

7th carton has 7 egg in it.

now total egg= total egg in 6 cartons +7 egg in 7th carton

72+7=79 (total egg)
