So if the person will pay the bill and the tip 15%, that means that the person will pay 100%+15%=115% of the entire bill. Lets create a ratio and this unknown value of 115% will call it X.
If 58.65 is 100% of the bill,
then x is 115% of the bill.
Cross multiply, 100 times x equal to 58.65 times 115.
100x=58.65*115
100x=6744.75
Divide both sides with 100.
