So lets add the x together and the numbers together. We will have this:

5+ 20-22-3x – 10.2-2x + 5 = 0

25-22-5x-10.2+5=0

Lets put the variables on one side and the numbers on the other side. Every variable or number that will change sides, will have their sign changed from a + into a - and vice versa.

5x=25-22-10.5+5

5x=-2.5

Divide both sides with 5.

5x/5 = -2.5 / 5

x = -0.5
