We have 2,4,5, 8 and we have to write all odd positive integers less than 300.

Note that the numbers should be odd. So, in the unit digit should only be 5, because 2, 4, 8 would make the number even.

Also, the first digit can only be two because other numbers would make it bigger than 300.

So, 2__5 is fixed. The middle digit could be any of the four.

So, 225; 245; 255 and 285 all satisfy the conditions.

 

Hence, it is possible to write 4 odd positive integers less than 300 with numbers 2,4,5, and 8.
