There are approximately 250 different species of marsupials, by which most of them are found in the continent of Australia, and some are found in Asia and America. They are categorized to be in the mammalian group whereas, the offspring are born in a premature stage, and it continues to develop while being carried by their mother in her lower belly. The most common marsupials are kangaroo, koalas wombats, and tarsiers.
