so basically we have this equation 4x-2(x-3)=10+(-9)

lets try to simplify it first, on the left side we can multiply 2 with the bracket and on the right side we can substract 10 and the 9

so we will have: 4x-2x+6=10-9

4x-2x+6=1

lets substracts x together on side of the equation and lets put the numbers on the other side

4x-2x=1-6

2x=-5

divide both sides with 2

2x/2=-5/2

x=-5/2
