First check which ratio is greater,

let:

2:1 or 1:2

we write the ratio in fraction form,

2/1 or ½

first we make the denominator same

LCM of 1 and 2 =2

thus,

=>2/1=2/1*2/2=4/2.

=> ½=½.

so,

4/2 > ½

2/1 > ½

thus :

2:1 is greater ratio (Answer)
