When communicating, it must be taken to note that you must not only listen to the words of the person you're having a conversation with, but you also need to be mindful of your own words, since it might spike an emotion that can trigger others. Being insensitive is communicating is an unethical practice which is often the reason for conflicts and misunderstandings between people who are having a conversation. Hence, having a presence of mind whether what you're saying is appropriate in the situation you're in is a must in order to avoid conflicts and have a meaningful communication with someone.
