One practice that is instituted by the church is to attend the mass every Sunday or every holy week, since it is required in the ten commandments, not necessarily to attend the mass, but to keep holy or honor the Sabath Day, which is during Sunday. Attending the mass is for preservation of faith, since each individual is given a chance to hear the word of the Lord, and receive the body of Christ, whereas attending the holy mass, do not necessarily mean that you are holy, but instead you are practicing the ways to become holy and be close with the Father.
