Side of square = 6 inches
Let Diagonal of a square be c
And it's sides are a and b
Then, c² = a² + b² {By phythogoras theorem}
c² = 6² + 6²
c² = 36 + 36
c² = 72
Taking square root of both sides, we get
c = 6√2
Hence, diagonal of square is 6√2.
