Given :

Selling price = ₹ 8330

Loss = 2%

So, we have to find coat price of mobile first.

Let cost price be x

Then, 98% x = ₹ 8330

(98/100)x = 8330

x = 8330/98 × 100

x = ₹8500

Now, for 7% gain = 8500/100 × 107

= ₹9095

Hence, he would have to sell the mobile set for ₹9095 to gain 7% interest.
