Given: Initial speed = 6 m/s, t = 4 seconds, g = -9.8m/s^2

In order to find the pillows velocity we derived it from the formula of acceleration

acceleration = change in velocity / change in time

acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity / change in time

final velocity = (acceleration)(time) + initial velocity

final velocity = (-9.8m/s^2)(4 s) +(- 6m/s)

final velocity = -45.2 m/s
