Given: Probability of a player to shoot and score a point 0.2 % or 1.5

Find the probability of a player to miss four in a row.

Solution:

Multiply 4 with the current probability in order to determine the probability of the player to miss four in a row. 4 will only be multiplied to the numerator of 1/5 since if  it is to be multiplied also in the denominator, then the probability will remain the same.

Probability to miss a shot = (4) (1/5)

Probability to miss a shot = 4/5 or 0.8 %
