When a number is raised into a negative power, we follow this route:

If a^-b, that is equal to 1/a^b. So if a number is raised into a negative power, that is equal to 1 divided that number raised in the same power but positive this time, so its reversed and the sign from negative is positive.

In our case we have 7^-2

7^-2=1/7^2

=1/7*7

=1 / 49
