Lets try and remove the brackets first to make it easier for us. So multiply 2 with (2x-3)

6x-1 = 4x-6

Put the variables in one side of the equation and the numbers on the other side. If a variable or number changes side, it will have its sign changed from a - into a + and vice versa.

6x-4x = -6+1

2x = -5

Divide both sides with 2/

2x/2 = -5/2

x= -5/2
