3y=11-2x ….1

3x=y-11 ….2

Multiplying equation 2 by 3, we get

9x = 3y - 33

9x - 3y = -33 …3

Adding equation 1 and 3, we get

3y + 9x - 3y = 11 - 2x - 33

9x + 2x = -22

11x = -22

x = -22/11

x = -2

Putting value of x in equation 1, we ger

3y = 11 -2(-2)

3y = 11 + 4

3y = 15

y = 15/3

y = 5
