Lets try and remove the brackets by multiplying the number 2 with (x+4) and number 5 with (x+1)
2(x+4)=2x+8
5(x+1)=5x+5
So now we have:
3x+2x+8=5x+5+3
5x+8=5x+8
Both sides are equal so we will have:
0=0
That means that the value of x = infinite. No matter what x we choose, that equation will still be the same because x cancels itself.
