Lets try and substitute F=75 in our equation.

F=9/5C+32

75 = 9/5C+32

Lets put the variables on one side and the numbers on the other side. Every variable or number that will change sides, will have their sign changed from a + into a - and vice versa.

9c/5 = 75-32

9c/5 = 43

Lets try and multiply both sides with 5.

(9c x 5) / 5 = 43 x 5

9c = 215

Divide both sides with 9.

9c/9 = 215 / 9

c = 23.88
