Formula Used :

Mean = Sum of terms/number of terms

We have,

Number of terms = 8

Mean = 224

So,

224 = Sum of terms/8

Sum of terms = 1792

Here, it is given that there was an error in one of the book's pages.

Error = 220 - 200

= 20

So, actual sum of terms = 1792 - 20

= 1772

Now, Actual mean = 1772/8

= 221.5

Hence, correct Mean of pages is 221.5
