now arrange this set of data in ascending order:-

now, median of this data is in between  84 and 92 it means:-

median= 84+92 /2

              =176/2

              =88

now split this set of data in two parts, where it splits from that number which is just smallest than median and in this set of data 84 is just smallest number than median so, it this set splits from 84 and 92

now we get two set, one is 72, 80, 81, 84 and second is 92, 92, 94, 95

now median of first set is in between 80 and 81 that means, 80+81 /2= 161 /2=80.5

median of second set is between 92 and 94 that means, 92+94 /2= 186 /2= 93

now interquartile range = median of second set- median of first set
