Traditions can be bad since they can reject modernity. Some traditions often hinder a person from trying something new since they categorized it to be bad or against the tradition, thus this concept is very discouraged since as the rise of globalization become dominant, modernity has also become prevalent in the minds of many people. Although there are still a lot of people who respect and acknowledge their tradition, the negative effect is just based on the limitations that it makes.
