Alright so basically we need to compare 30% and ⅓.
In order to do this, we should express them both in the same conditions, so either both percentage or both fractions.
Lets try to express them both in percentage.
First one stays as it is 30% while in order to express ⅓ as a percentage, the denominator should be 100.
So in our case, since the denominator is 3, we should multiply the nominator and denominator with the same number, so the bottom part of the fraction will be 100.
3*X=100
X=33.3333….
So with this X that we found, we will multiply the nominator and the denominator (top and bottom part of the fraction)
The new fraction formed is 33.333…/100 and that can be expressed as 33.333….%
So, 33.333…% > 30%
That means that ⅓ is bigger than 30%
