There are many ways for a poor person in Europe to have a chance at a better life. Ofcourse, there are illegal ways, but as the word illegal dictates that you'll be punished for such act, or crime that you'll be doing. For the legal ways, people tend to find their livelihood, by opening up small businesses, selling their handicraft works or goods. There are also some people who became somewhat of a helper or a slave during the past times in order to have a roof in their heads, and foods to eat.
