We have,

5x+15 = 0      …1

 3x-3 = 0        …2

From equation 1 :

5x = -15

Dividing both sides by 5, we get

5x/5 = -15/5

x = -3

From equation 2

3x = 3

Dividing both sides by 3, we get

3x = 3/3

x = 1
